The ONE Thing That Helped Change My Life And Marriage

I once heard that you should never trust a man in shining armor because THAT man hasn't been through anything.

On this side of my journey, I can tell you that those are some wise words. But I have to admit that about a decade ago I strove to be THAT man. I wanted to be the knight in shining armor. I needed to fool everyone around me into thinking that I had it all together.

My Story In 163 Words.

But there was nothing "together" about me. I had been 1 of 11 children from a father who taught me that sleeping with a lot of women was the only mark of a real man. I had been addicted to pornography, I had over $12,000 in credit card debt, I was emotionally and relationally illiterate, I battled extreme anxiety and I had no idea what my purpose in life was. Naturally. this meant that I should marry a woman who I had only known for 10 months, move her across the country away from her support systems, and dive deep into my work. No?

Well, that's what I did. And you can take a wild guess on how that turned out. Three months, in case you're wondering- that's how long it took her to leave me. That's when I found myself weeping uncontrollably while lying on a beach inside of my Marine Corps-issued sleeping bag. My armor was starting to show its cracks.

The Game-Changer In My Life

That same night, I somehow ended up on a website of a guy who claimed to be helping men with their deep "issues" over Skype. I called him right then and there and from that 5-minute phone call sprung years of mentorship and coaching. Andy (that's his real name) took the time to invest in me. We worked through so much junk and unhealthy belief systems. He engaged with me right in the middle of my messes, he empowered me with Biblical truths and encouraged me on my journey. And you know what, that's what I needed; a man who would walk with me on my way and continually point me to The Way.

I can tell you with full confidence that I would not be the man, husband, father, or marine officer that I am today if it wasn't for the coaching and mentorship I received all of these years. That's the power of having men alongside you to empower and encourage you as you become the man that God created you to be.

That's why I am so excited about offering you a totally free coaching call. Having a one-on-one conversation with a life coach can help you reach better clarity about your goals and the direction that you want to go. A life coach can help you get unstuck and bridge the gap between where you are now and where you want to be. One-on-one coaching also brings the added benefit of having someone who can encourage you about your strengths and progress but also challenge you to reach further and overcome your weaknesses.

Let's set something up and connect one on one. I'm excited to hear from you.
